Every silicone mold sold by OddityAbyss is handmade in Mississippi using high-quality platinum-cure silicone and original designs created in-house. From cryptids and creepy-cute creatures to fantasy, gothic, and whimsical creations, our molds are designed to help makers bring their own unique projects to life.

Handmade with Care

Unlike mass-produced molds, each OddityAbyss mold is individually poured, trimmed, inspected, and packaged by hand. Minor cosmetic variations may occur from mold to mold, but they will not affect functionality.

Because these molds are handmade, tiny surface imperfections or slight variations may occasionally be present and are considered normal.

Temperature Resistance

Our molds are made from heat-resistant platinum-cure silicone and can withstand temperatures up to 300°F (149°C).

Suitable applications may include:

• Low-temperature baking projects

• Polymer clay curing

• Wax applications

• Other craft materials that cure below the recommended temperature limit

Do not expose molds to direct flame, broilers, heating elements, or temperatures exceeding 300°F.

 

Not Food Safe

OddityAbyss molds are intended for arts, crafts, and hobby use only.

These molds are not marketed, certified, or sold as food-safe products and should not be used for food preparation, candy making, chocolate making, baking food products, or other edible applications.

For food-contact projects, please purchase molds specifically manufactured and certified for food use.

 

Mold Care Instructions

To extend the life of your mold:

• Wash gently with mild soap and water when needed

• Allow molds to dry completely before storage

• Store flat in a cool, dry location

• Avoid sharp tools that may damage the silicone

• Keep away from open flames and excessive heat

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight

With proper care, silicone molds can provide hundreds of uses.

 

Resin Users

When working with epoxy or UV resin:

• Follow all resin manufacturer safety instructions

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

• Allow resin to fully cure before demolding

• Avoid excessive heat buildup from large resin pours

• Use mold release only if recommended for your specific project
